If you have a SANS account, make sure to go check out their free webinars that cover the gamut of cybersecurity topics. This is a fun opportunity to learn about a variety of topics for free on webinars about various topics. - Cybrary Courses
Other organizations will provide training resources that you can use for the CISSP and other ISC2 certifications. One of these is Comptia, which published their list of Cybrary Courses with CPE numbers that are approved. Always double check the amount of CPE, but this provides a fantastic opportunities to get training for a low cost. Monthly memberships are available for purchase. - Local ISC2 Chapters
There are local (ISC)2 chapters that are a great way to meet other certified professionals, in person or online. Not only do they have fascinating webinars, but the people are also locals. - Volunteer For Bsides And Other Local Conferences
Volunteering for local security conferences is a fantastic way to meet new people. This will allow you to more organically meet people, than would - Join A Local Hackerspace
Joining a hackerspace itself will not be CPE, but at the local hackerspace, there will be opportunities to meet new people, mentor others, and learn of new courses/projects. This will help you connect with others, and learn.
