What do doctors, nurses, lawyers, accountants, and cybersecurity professionals have in common?
The media commonly portrays and one will really only interact and think of 1 type of these professions. For example, one might typically associate lawyers with either traffic tickets or suing someone. However, there are more types of law to practice, such as medical malpractice, family law, constitutional law, and criminal law.
When someone says “accountant”, people think taxes because that’s how most people have interacted with their accountants. However there are many more types of accountants such as forensic accounting, insurance accounting, and much more.
There are other types of doctors and nurses, other than those who work on surgery. There are those specialized on children, specific organs such as the kidneys, and specific diseases.
The same goes for cybersecurity where people hear of hacking and just see media showing only hackers.
